    Weber State University Department of the Performing Arts Associated Actors and Technicians presents a dialect workshop by Sarah Shippobotham 10:00 pm - 12:00 pm, September 25, in Room 230, Val A. Browning Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are available at the door for $5. Receive $1 off by bringing first aid or hygience items or clothing (not food) to donate to Your Community Connections (www.yccogden.org). This event is open to the publuc.
    As the Head of the Actor Training Program at the University of Utah, Hippobotham teaches Freshman Acting and Dialects to the Senior class. She trained as an actor at The Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, Wales. She worked professionally in Great Britain for fourteen years before receiving a Postgraduate Diploma in Voice Studies from The Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
    Participants should bring writing material for note-taking and water. Tape/digital recorders are also suggested and welcome. No prior experience is necessary.
