    Jeff Bennett is an Assistant Professor Communication Studies at the University of Iowa and recipient of numerous academic honors, including the National Communication Association's Karl R. Wallace Memorial Award. An engaging activist and scholar, Bennett explores the decades-old federal policy that prohibits gay and bisexual men from donating blood.
