Eric Whitacre is one of the most popular composers of our time. He composes choral, band, and orchestral music that appeal to a wide array of audiences. The Salt Lake Choral Artists and the University of Utah Singers will collaborate in an evening of remarkable music that strives to portray water and thunderstorms; sleeping and flying; and children's songs to love songs. The world premiere of a new piece by Eric Whitacre adds an extra element of excitement to the evening.
