The Herdman kids are unruly and mischievous-the worst kids in town, perhaps the world. When they find out there are free treats in Sunday School, they decide to check it out and wind up in the Christmas pageant as main characters. As the Christmas pageant unfolds, the Herdman's hear the Christmas story for the first time, and as fate would have it, help the rest of the town discover what Christmas is really about.
