With the arrival of web-based blogs and commercial sites, reviewing-of everything from books to hotels, from theatre performances to restaurants-has either proliferated democratically or come under attack-depending on your perspective. It is true that print newspapers and magazines are cutting back on reviewing, arguing that readers are turning to electronic media now.
