In "Godfather of the Bride," Chicago's No. 1 crime boss, Don Donatello Giovani, opens his Opera Lover's Convention Hall to a wedding reception for his about-to-designated No. 2 man, Fingers Vinerelli, and his new bride, Bunny Beckenstein. But something dastardly interrupts the festivities. Other characters are the songstress and Don's bodyguard Trixie Maraschino, the bride's mother Carla Beckenstein, Inspector Cluesup and Harry "The Lip" Smackarelli.
