The 5th Annual Amazing Earthfest is Kanab, Utah's festival of discovery and learning about the natural world. Amazing Earthfest offers a full week of educational and experiential events celebrating National Parks, Forests and Monuments of the Colorado Plateau. The fun begins May 15, 2011 in Kanab, with over 40 learning events in botany and wildlife; culture, music and entertainment; cycling, hiking, dinosaurs and rock art; land management, earth sciences, ethics, astronomy, and community arts; plus an award-winning documentary film series.

      This has to be one of the most diverse and satisfying festivals in the beautiful SW. It brings together the history of the region,natural science presented by esteemed professionals, outdoor events, arts & cultural events and even a mini-film festival featuring environmental documentaries (Kanab is known as the Little Hollywood of the West). Great location, something to interest everyone who loves the grandeur of Color Country. Collapse

      I attended this festival last year and was amazed at the number of diverse events and expertise of the presenters. I learned something every day, met some new like-minded friends and enjoyed the beauty of southern Utah's landscapes. Can't wait for this year's festival. Collapse
