It's a long, cold winter for the Pontipee brothers when, inspired by the eldest's unlikely success in marriage, they steal away the town's daughters to their mountain homestead. Trapped by an avalanche until the end of winter, the boys get an icy reception from their intended mates. Will the warmth of spring bring a thaw to their relationships, and what will they do when the angry townsmen can get through the canyon?
