Rosh Hashanah and Queen of the Sun
September 26, 2011
Add Review/CommentTraditionally, apples dipped in honey are eaten for Rosh Hashanah to symbolize their wish for a sweet new year. The ten days beginning with Rosh Hashanah and ending with Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, are a time for introspection during which people look back at their deeds of the past year, commit to changing their behavior and also apologize for others for any wrongs that may have been committed.
