The Wasatch Community Symphony Orchestra of Salt Lake City is the oldest continuing community orchestra in the area. Theodore Zalkind was appointed as the Orchestra's Music Director and Conductor in 2009. The conductor and all musicians donate their time to rehearse and provide free concerts for the public. The commitment of the players is evidenced by the fact that, in addition to providing their talents, they donate annual dues to the organization.
