The University of Utah Jazz Big Bands will present their fall concert at Libby Gardner Concert Hall. Under direction by new Jazz Director Russell Schmidt, an acclaimed jazz pianist and composer, the U's premier big bands will perform works by John Fedchock, Gordon Goodwin, Jim McNeely, Kenny Wheeler, Henry Wolking and more.
