Join them for special evening honoring Temple Grandin who will be presented with the inaugural Peek Award for Disability in Media ? which celebrates the legacy of Kim Peek, the savant from Salt Lake City who inspired the Academy Award-winning film RAIN MAN. Dr. Grandin is the first recipient of the award which honors a subject, director, or actor in a film who helps to shape the perception of people with disabilities in our society.
