The Women of Lockerbie

On December 21, 1988, the quiet town of Lockerbie, Scotland, was turned upside down when Pan Am 103 crashed into their lives and rained metal on their roofs. Now, seven years later, the women of Lockerbie are fighting the U.S. government to obtain the clothing of the victims in order to wash the clothes of the dead and return them to the victims' families. One such family is Bill and Madeline Livingston, who struggle with their individual grief for the loss of their only son. All too soon, everyone realizes that the clothes aren't just clothes, but a way to convert an act of hatred into an act of love.
