After years of renting homes and hopping from city to city, Matthew Batt and his wife Jenae had decided it was time to become adults. Despite a complete lack of homesteading experience, they bought a real fixer-upper: a century-old crack house in Salt Lake City's Sugarhouse neighborhood.
