It's the height of the Perseid Meteor Shower tonight, and the American West Heritage Center is teaming up with Stokes Nature Center for a night like no other! Go on a night hike, using stars to navigate to find a treasure; StarLab from USU (a big domed tent on which to shine a star show) featuring Native American constellation identification will be here; multi-media films about space and the stars will be shown; do a star-related craft; listen to some storytelling about the stars; enjoy a glow in the dark Victorian Tea Party under the stars. Of course, you can always look up at the sky, too! This event will NOT be canceled due to weather.

I especially enjoyed the charming setting and the attentive and gracious audience who attended when several of us storytellers shared our favorite tales at the American West Heritage Center in years past. What a privilege to know that a place to celebrate "Tellabration!" is so accessible that we can enjoy it here with the rest of the World! Collapse
