Add Review/CommentThis new musical tells the true story of one of the greatest humanitarian efforts in the history of the world. Set in occupied Berlin following WWII, Ernst Rueter is the mayor of 2.5 million German citizens trapped behind communist lines. As political powers come to bear on the day-to-day life of the defeated nation, Rueter must decide how much he will risk in opposing the new, imminent threat. Based on the inspiring true events of the Berlin Airlift, this new musical tells a story of uncommon love and unlikely heroes.
