Odyssey Dance Theatre's Shut Up and Dance has three completely different programs: the full-length Beatles anthology, Let It Be, last year's hit Moulin Rouge, along with three premieres and a new Mia Michaels and the world premiere of West Side Story, by Odyssey Founder and Artistic Director Derryl Yeager. The return of last year's hit. The New York Times said, 'Odyssey Dance Theatre breaks out! Moulin Rouge was a lot of fun!' Deseret Morning News said, 'Add another winning to the Odyssey Repertoire!... Fast paced and spectacular!' Also on this Program: Three World Premieres- Grind- a new hiphop piece by the fabulous Trey Barber (the Krew) about the daily grind and the search for greener pastures. Degrees of Separation- A multi-faceted insight into relationships, choreographed by several of Odyssey's best dancer/choreographers including Eldon Johnson, Bonnie Story (Emmy Award Winner), and Christian Denice. Heartland- A new work that explores the soul of America through the bluegrass music made famous in the movie 'O Brother Where Art Thou'. Created by the award winning choreographer and original Odyssey Dance Theatre Member Tiffany Carpenter. Important Information: Children 5 under are not permitted.
