America's Wildest Places celebrates over 100 years of the National Wildlife Refuge System , the world's most unique network of lands and waters set aside specifically for the conservation of fish, wildlife and plants. This exhibit illustrates how the refuge system conserves and manages ecosystems and flyways that depend on protected public lands. The exhibit, developed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service , includes dioramas, videos, and hands-on experiences that surround visitors with images, sights and sounds of various Refuge areas.
