This exhibition of evocative and haunting photographs bear testament to Rosalie Winards' passion for birds. For over a decade, she has traveled from Florida to California to Wyoming and Utah then North Dakota and Louisiana. Her travels have been made by foot, in canoes, on airboats and on all terrain vehicles in order to capture on film these large birds. Winard's images combine portrait and landscape, movement and stillness, power and fragility that reveal what feels like the souls of the birds. The exhibition follows the release of a book of the same name with text by Terry Tempest Williams.
