Currently the artistic director of the Chicago Jazz Ensemble, composer and trumpeter Jon Faddis demonstrates virtuosity like few others. His ability to play in the high range of the instrument has led the legendary Dizzy Gillespie to declare, 'He's the best ever, including me.'
