Step into the pages of a classic fairy tale and experience the laughter, drama, and romance that are only possible in its operatic manifestation. In Rossini's superb comedy, the schemes of a wicked stepfather are all that stand between Cinderella and her bright destiny. Secret identities, horrible step-sisters, and a true Prince Charming are all part of a tale you will remember ever after. Sung in Italian with English supertitles. Helpful Information: There will be a pre-opera lecture held at the Salt Lake City Library Wednesday, March 5 at 7:30pm with University of Utah professor April Greenan.
