Add Review/CommentBeethoven performed his first piano concerto as his first public performance in Vienna. Nearly 150 years later, Prokofiev would pour out emotion without apology in the symphony he dedicated to the pure and noble spirit of man. On the program is Manuel de Falla's Three-Cornered Hat: Suite No. 2, Ludwig van Beethoven's Concerto for Piano No. 1 in C major, Op. 15 and Sergei Prokofiev's Symphony No. 5 in B-flat major, Op. 100. Helpful Information: Student discounts available. Pre-concert lecture presented at 7:15pm in the First Tier reception room.
