A zany, offbeat, and very funny murder mystery farce about an unassuming English shoe salesman forced to take the corpse of his recently-murdered Atlantic City croupier uncle on a week-long vacation to Monte Carlo. Should he succeed, Harry Witherspoon stands to inherit $6,000,000. If not, the money goes to the Universal Dog Home of Brooklyn. The proceedings are sheer lunacy as Harry comes up against his uncle's insanely jealous and legally blind mistress, her much put-upon optometrist brother and Annabel Glick, a zealous representative from the Universal Dog Home determined to see Harry's inheritance 'go to the dogs.'

First, I loved finding this musical on Now Playing Utah, what a great resource. Second, what a great show. It was beautifully done. The acting and voices and songs made it an engaging experience that kept me involved and interested. The costumes and staging were well done. I really liked the youthful actors and the double-roles of many of the actors. Well done. I definitely want to come back to Terrace Plaza Playhouse. It is only about a 50 minute drive from Salt Lake. Newcomer Samantha Simpson is a real talent as Aida--she'll blow you away! Her voice is amazing--it's strong and beautiful. She is mesmerizing to listen to and she makes you really care what happens. The show is well-directed, well-choreographed and well-acted with great scenery and intense chemistry between Aida and Radames. GO SEE IT and you'll want to see it again. Someday you'll be able to say you saw Simpson's first lead role. It certainly won't be her last. Collapse

This play has the biggest name ever, but it also has some of the biggest laughs! The whole thing is very witty and the actors do a great job of setting the pace. Very fun!
