Sharon Maney Lomanto: Logical Consequences
July 18-September 2, 2008
A resident of Carmel, California, Sharon Maney Lomanto uses steel as her canvas. Her work made of metal crosses the boundaries between two dimensional paintings and sculpture. Lomanto's monochromatic, minimal sculptures draw their inspiration from the clean lines of the automobile and their polished glossy sheen. Her study of form, process and material also reflect her interest in Asian art and culture.

I love the new exhibit. It reminds me of the 1950s and 60s. It is true pop art. Fresh take on old ideas. Love it!!!
