The hysterical meets the historical in this comic romp through the wackiest wax museum in history! School's out for summer, but not for six unlucky students who don't know much about history; they have to re-take the class in summer school First year teacher Heather Fairchild has arranged for them to help her two aunts set up a new wax museum as a class project Though the students; eyes glaze over with boredom, there's a twinkle in the wax figures; eyes when a mysterious incantation from the back of Cleopatra's bracelet brings them to life! King Henry VIII finds himself smitten with Cleopatra, making his queen, Anne Boleyn, furious If she can just not lose her head, John Adams is there to serve as her divorce attorney! When Butch Cassidy, the Sundance Kid, Blackbeard and a bevy of lady pirates show up, everybody's out for one thing, treasure! It's a wild goose chase to find it, with a greedy museum landlord and her bumbling son joining in the mad search And why is Lizzie Borden lurking in the shadows, since the aunts say they never had a wax figure of her?!

One of the most explosive movie musicals in recent memory bursts onto the live stage with exhilarating results When Ren and his mother move from Chicago to a small farming town, Ren is prepared for the inevitable adjustment period at his new high school What he isn't prepared for are the rigorous local edicts, including a ban on dancing instituted by the local preacher, determined to exercise the control over the town's youth that he cannot command in his own home

When the reverend's rebellious daughter sets her sights on Ren, her roughneck boyfriend tries to sabotage Ren's reputation, with many of the locals eager to believe the worst about the new kid The heartfelt story that emerges is of a father longing for the son he lost and of a young man aching for the father who walked out on him

To the rockin' rhythm of its Oscar and Tony-nominated top 40 score (the soundtrack album reached number one on the Billboard charts and has sold over 15 million copies!) and augmented with dynamic new songs for the stage musical, Footloose celebrates the wisdom of listening to young people, guiding them with a warm heart and an open mind

Over the past century, few entertainers have achieved the legendary status of Bill Cosby His successes span five decades and virtually all media, remarkable accomplishments for a kid who emerged from humble beginnings in a Philly project

In the 1960s, his stand-up act was a coast-to-coast sensation, spawning a string of hilarious, best-selling comedy albums, which went on to win eight Gold Records, five Platinum records and five Grammy Awards His role on TV's "I Spy" made him the first African-American to co-star in a dramatic series, breaking television's racial barrier and winning three Emmy Awards In the 1980s, he again rocked the television world with the "The Cosby Show", a gentle, whimsical and hugely successful series that single-handedly revived the family sitcom It's clear: Bill Cosby is a national treasure Dont miss this show!

Adapted by director Scott Eckern from the story by Craig Lucas, the play opens in 1950s in Italy when a wealthy American and her daughter set out to explore an Italian piazza (town square) filled with art, history and sunlight When a summer breeze whisks the girl's hat into the hands of a handsome young Florentine, the resulting encounter sparks an unexpected romance, forcing the mother to reconsider not only her daughter's future but her own life's dreams - and regrets Featuring a rich musical score by Adam Guettel, the grandson of Broadway composer Richard Rodgers, The Light in the Piazza explores love in its most tender and complicated forms

In American culture It's A Wonderful Life has become almost as familiar as Dickens' A Christmas Carol The story is natural for a stage adaptation: the saga of George Bailey, the Everyman from the small town of Bedford Falls, whose dreams of escape and adventure have been quashed by family obligation and civic duty, whose guardian angel has to descent on Christmas Eve to save him from despair and to remind him - by showing him what the world would have been like had he never been born - that his has been, after all, a wonderful life
