Music from the Heart Children's Orchestra

Music of the Heart Children's Orchestra was founded by Susan Wilcox and Natausha DeSpain. The vision when they began was that of a youth orchestra like no other: children younger, more dedication and above all else a fun experience for everyone. Since it's founding, MHCO has grown in numbers and in talent. Students range from six years old to high school students. The number of teachers in the program has also grown from two teachers to four teachers and one apprentice teacher. MHCO is not only an orchestra any longer. It has expanded to include group classes and a youth chamber music program, Salt Lake Youth Chamber Program. Most of the funding for these wonderful groups comes from state and private grants.
