Directed by Derryl Yeager, former Ballet West Principal, Broadway, Television and Film veteran, Utah's dynamite jazz/ballet dance repertory company performs works by such major choreographers in the jazz and dance theatre world as Mandy Moore, Dee Caspary, Mia Michaels, Liz Imperio, Alex Magno and Eddie Ocampo. Comprised of 30 mostly Utah born dancers who are proficient in all styles of dance, the company explodes with world-class bravado, passionate charm, and choreographic invention, combining the classical virtues of ballet with the explosive attack of jazz; the freedom of modern dance; the raw energy of hip-hop; the syncopated rhythms of tap; the fluid partnering of ballroom; and the spirit of Broadway and Vaudeville, to create a fresh dance vocabulary and entertainment genre that engages audiences at home and on tour. The company has carved a unique niche in the national and international dancescape and has, in fact, created a whole, new market for dance.

I have always enjoyed this show but this year they showed a lame teddy bear movie that was neither scary or entertaining! and it lasted for what seemed like forever. I did not pay 17.50 to watch... Expand

The idea of a hip hop Romeo and Juliette is ok, Westside Story sort of. But why would you change a classic story by letting the audience choose whether they live or die. Hopefully the audience will... Expand

I took my kids and didn't know what to expect. It was so much fun for everyone! We are have made it a tradition. I am shocked this isn't a national show!

I loved it. I was working all the shows at Utah State and loved every night. I recommend to everyone to watch it, amazing choreography, lights and comedy all add up to one "thrilling" evening.
