    Pioneer Craft House

    Comment on Facebook

For over 50 years, historic Pioneer Craft House has been offering arts and crafts classes for all ages. Some of their teachers learned pottery and silversmithing here as children, and are now handing those skills down to another generation. Learn how to make Native American flutes, as played in the 2002 Olympics, in their fully-equipped woodshop. Make rag rugs and woven sculpture in the only studio in the valley with floor looms. Try Pysanky, a centuries-old method of dying eggs. Bind books by hand, draw, paint, knit, and more. Visit their website to see their complete class schedule and other activities.
