  I am a fan of both of these artists but could not find solid common ground between the 2 last night. A beautiful evening and very well intentioned musicians could not seem to overcome profound... Expand

  I am a fan of both of these artists but could not find solid common ground between the 2 last night. A beautiful evening and very well intentioned musicians could not seem to overcome profound differences in style and delivery. Booker T oozed his good vibe and DBT wreeked of booze filled melancholy. Occasionally they hit the "intersting" mark but the show was more of a back and forth between the two worlds. Booker T remained graceful and and harmonious and DBT flaunted their wonderful out of tune badness. Booker T did not even join DBT on the final haunting encore "Angels and Fuselage"(except to come out and wave goodbye in the middle of the song). I would highly recommend seeing both these acts on their own though. Collapse
