Westminster is a nationally recognized, comprehensive liberal arts college. With a broad array of graduate and undergraduate programs, Westminster College is distinguished by its unique environment for learning. Westminster prepares students for success through active and engaged learning, real world experiences and its vibrant campus community. Westminster's unique location, adjacent to the Rocky Mountains and to the dynamic city of Salt Lake, further enriches the college experience. G.I. Jobs has recently announced that Westminster College will be featured in the 2010 list of Military Friendly Schools to be released today. The list honors the top 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools that are doing the most to embrace America's veterans as students. Schools on the list range from state universities and private colleges to community colleges and trade schools. The common bond is their shared priority of recruiting students with military experience. Westminster has had a dedicated veterans coordinator for more than two decades and has recently signed on to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program, a provision to the Post-9/11 GI Bill. Under the new program, the Department of Veterans Affairs and Westminster will cover the total cost of tuition and fees for eligible veterans who meet admissions standards of the college.

    02/09/12	Mistakes about Islam, Mistakes about the West Vieve Gore Concert Hall - Westminster College Mistakes about Islam, Mistakes about the West Presented by Westminster College at Vieve Gore Concert Hall - Westminster College February 9, 2012 Many contemporary invocations of the idea of the West oppose it to Islam. In this lecture, Kwame Anthony Appiah will argue that the very idea of an organic West distorts the reality of the societies it aims to describe; and that the development of Islam was deeply dependent upon traditions drawn from Europe.

Inspired by Eve Ensler's production of The Vagina Monologues, Dujardin, a fellow writer, speaker, and performer, wanted to include the voice of men in the fight against sexual violence.
