Big Mind Western Zen Center
Kanzeon Zen Center works to pass along the deep and profound truths of Zen Buddhism. Zen is one of the most ancient and widely respected wisdom traditions. For over 2500 years the Buddha's insights and views have stayed as relevant to the day-to-day lives of regular people as food, sleep, hope and love. And taking a few minutes to meditate each day adds to your life in so many ways.

Come manifest and experience the Heart Sutra with Peter Dokuho Verbogt. There will be exercises for body awareness. At the end of the evening we want to chant the Heart Sutra aloud,
open minded and wholeheartedly. 'The purest emptiness has no image but is the source of all images. The subtlest reasoning has no words but is the origin of all words. Thus images come
from no image and words come from no word.' (Hui ching)
