Gallery MAR clientele enjoy an inviting atmosphere in a modern setting on Main Street. The gallery welcomes both emerging and seasoned collectors and features fine contemporary art spanning from detailed still life works to abstracted landscapes and whimsical figurative pieces. It seeks out exquisite, non-commercial artwork and specialize in individualized customer service. Media include oil and acrylic paintings, mixed media, bronze sculpture, and ceramic. Painting starter sets and fine art books are available.

    02/11/12- 03/03/12	The Paper Moon Dance Gallery MAR The Paper Moon Dance Presented by Gallery MAR at Gallery MAR February 11-March 3, 2012 A fan favorite, Calleri's work is collected by families and celebrities both young and old, all across the nation. His figurative oil paintings, often navigating through the '20s and into the '60s, have a wonderfully nostalgic feel, harkening back to a simpler time. A new blending of the representational with the more whimsical and quirky distortion allows for an enriched narrative in Calleri's work. Each piece becomes personal as it tells a story, unique for each viewer.

      Memmott is inspired by his local surroundings and expresses his vision of our everyday environments in his oil paintings. Memmott's canvases are essentially urban. e uses a rich palette to paint scenes of glowing streetlights, nightlife, neighborhood intersections, wet reflective streets in signature parts of town, with an emphasis on perspective and light.       Penelope's paintings are a reflection of her surroundings. She paints contemporary still-lifes and interiors. Her inspiration often begins in social settings such as candle lit restaurants, trendy lounges and wine bars. She often depicts the way a wineglass or table fork reflects the surrounding atmosphere and light. By painting her subjects larger-than-life, emphasizing abstracted shapes (usually found in distortions and reflections of glass and metal), skewing the perspective, and by pushing color Penelope offers her viewers new and interesting ways to perceive commonly encountered places and objects.
