Celebrate America Show

During the Second World War, the largest concentration of USO shows was in the Hawaiian Islands, so its only fitting that this musical journey is set in the Schofield Barracks on the island of Oahu where you can experience the recreation of the best and grandest in USO entertainment. With their tight vocal harmonies and precision dance numbers, the talent and high-energy of the Celebrate America Dancers will have you thinking that you really are experiencing time travel. It's 1942 and civilians and personnel are 'under orders' to rest and relax from the rigors of war. Assigned to bring entertainment that will boost morale and let the troops know that America cares, remembers and supports their service and sacrifice, are the dynamic USO entertainers in the exciting Aloha USO performance. The show is power-packed from start to finish with music from the roaring twenties to the fabulous forties, from Broadway to the beaches of Waikiki with big band music that America loved then and now. After the show, couples can enjoy dancing or just listening to your favorite big-band tunes from Glenn Miller to Tommy Dorsey and the swing era greats with the Larry Smith Orchestra and the Celebrate America Singers.

      Where else can you find a 17 piece Big Band top orchestra playing your favorites and dancing after a fabulous Broadway styled show with great performances by talented young dancers and tight-harmony singers. The 'best kept secret' is available to everyone! The grand buffet dinner with superb salmon, chicken and beef is an added part of a great evening. Don't miss it and become an annual participant - the Show is entirely new and vibrant every year. When you see this show, you know why it "Celebrates America" - the goodness and historical patriotic deeds of our past and present service men and women. Since we have attended every year for the past 11 years, I speak with a perspective that you will truly enjoy the evening. Get reservations early and bring your friends - each table seats 10. We've always brought our family for such a wonderful evening together and photos now fill our computer. See you Sept. 2011 Collapse

      I LOVED this show! Everything about it was excellent. The setting is good, the food is good, and the entertainment is amazing. You walk up some steps and into a decorated entrance and suddenly you've been transported back into the big band era. We brought my grandmother and she told us over and over that it was the best night of her life! This is quite the compliment as she has lived over 80 years. The food is buffet style but the line moves quickly and we all felt we got plenty to eat. The stage was amazing, and the singers and dancers were very professional. While the evening is a bit pricey, I think it is totally worth it. I highly recommend this event to anyone who wants to have a great time! Collapse

      We've attended the Celebrate America Show for the past 10 years. We love it and even plan our summer so we can attend. There's not another show anywhere that offers good clean professional entertainment with dinner, show and a big band dance! We love the meal, the show is fantastic entertainment and the band is the best! Thank you Celebrate America Show for giving us such great entertainment. We've already got our tickets for 2010.
