Utah Council for Citizen Diplomacy

The Utah Council for Citizen Diplomacy (UCCD) is an independent, nonpartisan, 501-c-3 corporation whose mission is to promote global understanding and respect between the people of Utah and other nations. Since 1967, UCCD has been a nonpartisan, private sector partner with the U.S. Department of State s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). This program, which is administered by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, invites emerging leaders from around the world to the U.S. for short-term professional programs. In partnership with American Express and Westminster College's Weldon J. Taylor Executive Lecture Series, the UCCD also sponsors the Ambassador John Price and Marcia Price World Affairs Lecture Series. This Lecture Series is designed to inform our citizens about key foreign policy issues and to create a globally savvy community. Our speakers come from a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds and are nationally recognized authors, academics and foreign affairs experts.
