Utah Storytelling Guild
The Utah Storytelling Guild (USG) is a non-profit organization established to nurture, foster and promote the art form and practice of storytelling. Local Chapters have monthly meetings to promote storytelling in your area and provide the opportunity to develop and share your stories. (See website for more info.) Anyone is welcome to join them - from story lovers to hobbyists to professional storytellers. Due-paying members receive the following: * Bi-monthly Taleswapper newsletter--hard copy and online * Listing on the USG website with bio page and picture * Invite to any of the quarterly "May-Day Marketing" meetings or any other special interest group within USG * Apply for grants and scholarships through use of USG's 501 (c) 3 status after submitting form to the Board * Participation with the House Concert professional development series * Emails with announcements of opportunities and auditions as they are known * And much more!
