Cedar City Music Arts

Cedar City Music Arts is 80 years old this season! Oak is the traditional gift for an 80th year anniversary. What rich and appropriate comparisons this brings to mind. The oak tree is the king of strength and the giver of shade and comfort. This series has come to mean these things to the people of their community. For 80 years the musical masters brought to Cedar City have delivered countless edifying moments to their audiences.

    03/23/10	Alwin Nikolais Centennial Celebration Heritage Center Theater Alwin Nikolais Centennial Celebration Presented by Cedar City Music Arts at Heritage Center Theater March 23, 2010 Salt Lake City's Rire-Woodbury Dance Company was founded in 1964 and is 45 years old this year. It has been a part of the CCMA season many times in past years. Rire-Woodbury has always strived to meld creative, innovative modern dance with a variety of choreographic styles. The company's repertoire ranges from minimalism to multimedia dances. CCMA always looks forward to their arrival because they bring such color and flavor to our season.
