Plan-B Theatre Company
Founded in 1991 and incorporated in 1995, Plan-B develops and produces unique and socially conscious theatre.
Plan-B Theatre Company is the resident theatre company of Salt Lake County Center for the Arts venues and has won 30 City Weekly Slammy/ArtyAwards since 2000, including Best Theatre Production for seven consecutive years: The Laramie Project [2001], My Left Breast [2002], Hedwig and the Angry Inch [2003], Animal Farm [2004], Tragedy: A Tragedy [2005], Amerika [2006] and Facing East [2007]. Plan-B is the only Utah-based theatre company to have toured its work outside of Utah: A Letter to Harveymilk [Frankfurt, Germany, 2005], Amerika [Toronto, Canada, 2006], Facing East [New York (off-Broadway), San Francisco, 2007]. Recipient of the 2007 Allies for Equality Award from Equality Utah, Plan-B operates under a Small Professional Theatre agreement with Actors Equity Association and is a member of Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for the American Theatre.

Thanks for the comment regarding new playwrights and how much you enjoyed THE END OF THE HORIZON I would like to be sure it's clear that Utah Shakespearean Festival's New American Playwright's Project first workshopped the play, then we at Plan-B did further workshopping before our world premiere production. It is specifically part of Plan-B's mission to fully produce works by Utah playwrights. Collapse

I hope they extend the performances. I saw this opening night and loved the script, the staging, and mostly the actors. Strong cast. Kudos to Utah Shakespeare for helping cultivate Utah playwrights... Expand
