Utah Humanities Council
The Utah Humanities Council provides lifelong learning through programs that explore diverse traditions, values, and ideas. its programs help everyone understand the past, participate fully in the present, and actively shape the future.
Since its establishment in 1975 as an independent nonprofit agency, The Utah Humanities Council and its programs have reached every corner of the state, involving thousands of people as planners, participants, and audiences. Nonprofit organizations such as libraries, historical societies, museums, local arts and humanities councils, civic and service organizations, public radio and television stations, educational institutions, local and state government agencies, ad hoc groups, and others collaborate with the council. While they seek to serve the entire state, they occasionally undertake temporary initiatives that focus on selected topics, targeted audiences, or geographic locations.

Park City Performing Arts Foundation
Their story is one of humble beginnings, grand aspirations, luck, learning and incredible community support. In the mid-1990s, a small group of savvy locals came up with a scheme to partner with Park City School District in building a state-of-the-art theater. In 1998, after tremendous fundraising efforts, the theater opened its doors as The George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Center for the Performing Arts. Park City Performing Arts Foundation has filled the center with dance, music, theater, comedy, children's productions and authors every year since then. Moab Arts Council
First incorporated in 1987, the Moab Arts Council has grown and adapted to meet the ever-growing interest in and need for the arts in the Moab community. It is a matter of arts pride that Utah was the first state in the nation to create a state arts organization, and Moab was not too far behind.

Utah Arts Council
Established in 1899 by the Third Utah Legislature three years after Utah received statehood, the Utah Arts Council is the primary agency in Utah through which state and national funds combine to stimulate and encourage the arts in the state. The Council distributes funds appropriated directly for the arts by both the Utah State Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts. The Salt Lake City Arts Council connects artists and the public by producing a number of programs in the performing, visual, literary and folk arts.
