Epicenter provides year-round access to diverse art forms and design resources. This work began in 2009 with the renovation of an historic building on Broadway using design-build architectural strategy. This facility now serves as a hub for creative activity and houses Epicenter’s day-to-day operations. Though much of our work takes place out in the community, Epicenter manages this multi-use/flexible facility for the creation and presentation of the arts, design, and community resources.
We produce and present projects, programs, and services that are currently unduplicated within a 50-mile radius. Our programs are in high-demand and our staff and visiting artists (Frontier Fellows) are continually welcomed to facilitate programming throughout the community. Epicenter facilitates an artist residency program (The Frontier Fellowship), revitalization design/arts projects, creative events, destination development design, and exhibitions that celebrate local culture and contribute to the national contemporary arts and design dialogue.
