    About the artist:

Chris Proctor is a U.S. National Champion 6 and 12-string guitarist, performer, composer, recording artist, and teacher. He has released nine recordings of his own compositions and arrangements for Sugarhouse, Rounder, Flying Fish and Windham Hill records, as well as several popular books and teaching videos. In 2001, Taylor Guitars honored him with the "Chris Proctor Signature Model." His best-known CD’s are The Chris Proctor Collection, celebrating his first 25 years of original pieces and Under the Influence, the wonderful homage to his musical roots. He is also performing music from his brand new release- Ladybug Stomp. His music is classic Americana- spiced with the flavors of folk, Celtic, jazz, pop, rock and classical music. His warm, articulate performing style, his 12-string and slide work, his cutting-edge techniques and tunings, and his rich body of original guitar pieces and arrangements have made him a favorite of audiences across the country and abroad.
