About the artist:

Rich has a Bachelors Degree in Jazz and Contemporary Music from the University of Maine, He has played and toured with memebers of Blood Sweat and Tears, Jim Chapin and Rare Silk. In 1994 he headed west and wound up in Salt Lake, where he currently lives playing, and teaching music and building guitars. Rich got the Django germ 12 years ago and can't seem to get rid of it. He founded the Red Rock Hot Club in 1999 enjoys watching it evolve. Their 2005 CD release "Gyptology" has received rave reviews from Australia to the Netherlands...and so far in 2008 they have received awards from the City Weekly and are releasing their new CD in October!!
