About the artist:

Adaptable. That's me. My specialty is literary adaptions for theater. Some of my recent works include music for "Charlotte's Web," "Jungle Book," "James and the Giant Peach," classical greek theater, and even Shakespeare. Whether it's a book, a play, a poem, or stories written by students, I can write a score for you, or help you and/or your students write your own. I can also teach you and/or your students about adapting literature yourself, how to integrate music into your curriculum, how to improvise, or just more about music theory and how it all works. Any age, any level. I also do commission work, so if you would like a piece written just for you and/or your group - instrumental or vocal - I can do that. Music is not a spectator sport. Give yourself and your students the chance to work with a composer on a project from start to finish and let them experience the creative process and participate in a premier performance. Her most recent compositional work has been with Youth Theater at the U and the Classical Greek Theater Festival. Cathy is the managing director of Honor White Stone.
