Alta Town Park

The Alta Town Park is open between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. during the summer months only. It is located near the west end of the Alta Ski Area Transfer Tow. It features a volleyball court and bench seating, and barbecue grills and covered picnic tables for small group gatherings. There is no vehicle parking on site, but you may drive in and drop off heavier items. Access the town park through the Wildcat Parking Lot near Goldminer’s Daughter Lodge.

Any group of 8 or more persons is required to remove all the garbage generated by their group.
Large groups (over 75) are required to obtain a permit from the Town Office to insure adequate public safety and health facilities. The permit does not grant the group exclusive use of the park, which remains open to the public. The group must notify the Town at least 7 days prior to the intended usage and receive permission.
