Ed Kenley Centennial Amphitheater

In 1995, the arts council partnered with Layton City, corporate sponsors and private sponsors to build the beautiful Ed Kenley Centennial Amphitheatre. The Kenley Amphitheatre now hosts a multitude of arts events and is home to a diverse number of local and out-of-town artists and performers wishing to express their talents and passion for the community of Layton.

      06/22/12	Show Layton Your Talent Ed Kenley Centennial Amphitheater Show Layton Your Talent Presented by Davis Arts Council at Ed Kenley Centennial Amphitheater June 22, 2012 As the lights hit the stage at the first annual Show Layton Your Talent competition, a special tradition was born. This year, they kick-off the season with a special Broadway edition of their annual talent show. This year the audience chooses all three winners.

With a unique ability to re-invent himself and adapt to numerous genres, he has earned dedicated fans from all over the world. From concerts to theater, television to Las Vegas.
      07/07/12	Thurl Bailey with The Amp'd Up Band Ed Kenley Centennial Amphitheater Thurl Bailey with The Amp'd Up Band Presented by Davis Arts Council at Ed Kenley Centennial Amphitheater July 7, 2012 With skill and dedication, Thurl Bailey strives to be at the top of his game. While in high school beyond the basketball court he sang in two choirs, played three instruments, and was a member of the Drama Club.
      07/14/12	A Tribute to Peter, Paul, and Mary and Simon and Garfunkel Ed Kenley Centennial Amphitheater A Tribute to Peter, Paul, and Mary and Simon and Garfunkel Presented by Davis Arts Council at Ed Kenley Centennial Amphitheater July 14, 2012 This is a night to celebrate the music beloved by many generations. Act I of the show will be your favorite Peter, Paul, and Mary tunes performed by a successful Las Vegas tribute trio. Act II will feature Simon and Garfunkel's hit list, performed by local favorites, Code Blue.

Working together since 2006, The Society offers family-friendly comedy with creative energy.
      07/26/12	Mary Chapin Carpenter Ed Kenley Centennial Amphitheater Mary Chapin Carpenter Presented by Davis Arts Council at Ed Kenley Centennial Amphitheater July 26, 2012 Five-time Grammy-award winning artist, Mary Chapin Carpenter's combination of folk, country, acoustic, rock, and blues has sold over 13 million albums. She is a singer-songwriter for whom the conventional boundaries disappear and her love of music allows her to create tales of personal discover and purpose.
      08/06/12	Family Night with Ventriloquist Kevin Johnson Ed Kenley Centennial Amphitheater Family Night with Ventriloquist Kevin Johnson Presented by Davis Arts Council at Ed Kenley Centennial Amphitheater August 6, 2012 It is a goal of the Davis Arts Council to make art accessible. To that end, they are committed to providing a Family Night at the Kenley Amphitheatre to introduce the youngest members of their community to a live-performance experience.
      08/22/12- 08/27/12	Romeo and Juliet Ed Kenley Centennial Amphitheater Romeo and Juliet Presented by Davis Arts Council at Ed Kenley Centennial Amphitheater August 22-August 27, 2012 The Davis Arts Council proudly presents our second summer of Shakespeare in the Park. Romeo and Juliet is the story of young star-crossed lovers whose deaths unite their feuding families. First published in 1597, it is one of Shakespeare's most enduring and famous stories.
      08/31/12	Rosanne Cash Ed Kenley Centennial Amphitheater Rosanne Cash Presented by Davis Arts Council at Ed Kenley Centennial Amphitheater August 31, 2012 Rosanne Cash is the keeper of an extraordinary family legacy. She was born in Memphis, the eldest child of Johnny Cash. After high school, Cash joined her father's road show, working her way up from laundry duty to backup singer to soloist, before starting her own career in music.
      09/03/12	Air Supply Ed Kenley Centennial Amphitheater Air Supply Presented by Davis Arts Council at Ed Kenley Centennial Amphitheater September 3, 2012 Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock met in 1975 and became instant friends with their common love for The Beatles and singing. They started playing pizza parlors and night clubs with just one guitar and two voices. They quickly gained a reputation for great harmonies and original songs written by Graham.
