It is a challenge for us to join our various views in order to gain an original result. It is the only way to originate music of many colorful and sonic changes, which keep it ever lively and fresh.
    09/29/13	A Soldier's Tale Libby Gardner Hall - University of Utah A Soldier's Tale Presented by NOVA Chamber Music Series at Libby Gardner Hall - University of Utah September 29, 2013 NOVA opens the 2013-14 season with Stravinsky's classic theater piece, A Soldier's Tale, starring Doug Fabrisio of RadioWest on a collaborative production with Plan-B Theatre. Renowned percussionist and conductor Steven Schick returns to NOVA to lead the Stravinsky as well as perform Psappha, lannis Xenakis's vibrant tour de force for solo percussion.

Te FSQ collaborates with NOVA Artistic Director Jason Hardink in Dvorak's lively and sentimental Piano Quintet.

A new work by Eckardt is heard alongside late works by Beethoven, shocking and inscrutable masterpieces that still challenge listeners with their uncompromising beauty and intensity.

    04/27/14	NOVA in Canyon Country Libby Gardner Hall - University of Utah NOVA in Canyon Country Presented by NOVA Chamber Music Series at Libby Gardner Hall - University of Utah April 27, 2014 The splendid music of Utah composer Bruce Quaglia returns to NOVA for a world premiere performance of his new chamber concerto featuring soloists Brant Bayless and Jason Hardink. Each of the Quaglia works performed was inspired by time spent in the spectacular canyon country of southern Utah. The virtuosity and fine playing of Utah wind players will be displayed in the concerto as well as in Mozart's Serenade in E-flat Major.
