Our tools: a transdisciplinary fusion of art, science and technology. It's a museum, but not like any museum you've ever visited. It's an active exploration that shines a light on curiosity and allows your mind to wander.

02/16/13- 05/27/13	Mummies of the World at The Leonardo Library The Leonardo at Library Square Mummies of the World at The Leonardo Library Presented by The Leonardo at Library Square at The Leonardo at Library Square February 16-May 27, 2013 The New York Times calls it "magical and mythical." Mummies of the World, the largest exhibition of mummies and related artifacts ever assembled, presents a collection of naturally and intentionally preserved mummies.
01/25/13- 08/04/13	Nature's Toolbox: Biodiversity, Art, and Invention The Leonardo at Library Square Nature's Toolbox: Biodiversity, Art, and Invention Presented by The Leonardo at Library Square at The Leonardo at Library Square January 25-August 4, 2013 Fresh from its debut at the Field Museum in Chicago, Nature's Toolbox is a collection of art installations created by international artists exploring the topic of biodiversity. Each artist offers a different perspective on the interdependency of all living things, the complex and beautiful designs of nature, and humanity's role within this essential system.

The week will end with some friendly competition during a day-long field activity of fun track-and-field sports at Liberty Park.

Hawkwatch will partner with The Leoanrdo to bring in a bird! They will also explore math in art: golden ratio, the pyramids, the Partheno and other architecture, and they will spend time making fractal art, mosaics, mandalas, and sculpture

Science-Fiction gadgets and gizmos reimagined into times past. The Leonardo itself is a Steam organization (science, technology, engineering, art, math), so this camp will put the Steam in Steampunk - discussing the art of the fashion, the technology and engineering, and in the end you'll have what you need.

Chef or scientist? Here, you won't have to decide! Get the best of both worlds by working with our food scientists - and science foodies - while exploring different concepts of molecular gastronomy (the science of cooking). You'll even get to test the limits of culinary design by creating, plating, and serving your very own lab coat-worthy delights. Would you believe that it could be because of ... math?! In this camp, they will examine math-music connections through hands-on exploration, experimenting with sound-making and visualization and documenting our findings with digital media. Discover the science and technology of music and sound and take home your own digital music piece.
