    Alta Ski Area

Established in 1938 Alta is one of the nation's first ski areas. Alta makes every effort to provide a superior ski experience for every skier no matter what stage they are in. Located in nature's gorgeous surroundings of luminosity and dry powder with snowfalls reaching 42 feet, Alta is an experience that will last for a lifetime. First impressions may be startling, but there's no better place to train in powder skiing. If you're a beginner, Alta suggests starting off on their groomed runs. Don't miss the thrills and chills of the Alta Ski area, home of the greatest snow on Earth!

Alta Ski Area is open to the public all summer long for hiking and biking. Enjoy a fabulous lunch or brunch on weekends at the Alta Lodge or Rustler Lodge.
