    Art at the Main

    Art at the Main, located inside on the ground floor of Salt Lake City's main library, is part of the Library’s shops and services. Their mission is to provide public access to and promote public interest in quality artwork created by emerging Utah artists who do not already have an established, ongoing venue.

    Art at the Main provides the community and the Library with entertaining and informative arts events, such as open houses, featured artist receptions, and live demonstrations which benefit and increase exposure of the members and their artworks to the public. Members actively participate in the public educational and service goals of Art at the Main by creating and implementing various arts- and artistically-related activities held at the Library which are designed to support and promote art appreciation, as well as school art and Library sponsored programs.

    Hours: Monday-Thursday 10:00am-7:00pm, Friday-Saturday 10:00am-6:00pm, Sunday 1:00pm-5:00pm, Open for Gallery Stroll on the 3rd Friday of every month, 6:00pm-9:00pm.
