Rebelution -- Good Vibes Summer Tour 2022 Presented by Rio Tinto Stadium at Rio Tinto Stadium Aug 23, 2022 Good Vibes Summer Tour 2022 with Steel Pulse, DENM, DJ Mackle Founded in Isla Vista, CA, Rebelution has followed their instincts since the release of their breakout 2007 debut, Courage To Grow. In 2009, the band topped the Billboard Reggae Chart for the first of what would be five consecutive #1 records; and in 2017, they garnered a GRAMMY nomination for Best Reggae Album. Rebelution’s transcendent live performances, meanwhile, have earned the group sell-out headline shows everywhere from Red Rocks to The Greek Theatre, along with festival slots at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, ACL, Glastonbury, and more. Their latest album, In The Moment, is deliberate and wide-ranging, infusing the quartet’s soulful, exhilarating brand of modern reggae with addictive pop hooks, alt-rock grit, and hip-hop grooves. The Districts
The Districts Presented by Kilby Court at Kilby Court Aug 23, 2022 Great American Painting, the fifth full-length from The Districts, is the rare album that shines a bright light on all that’s wrong in the world but somehow still channels a galvanizing sense of hope. With equal parts nuanced observation and raw outpouring of feeling, the Philadelphia-based band confront a constellation of problems eroding the American ideal (gentrification, gun violence, the crushing weight of late capitalism), ornamenting every track with their explosive yet elegant breed of indie-rock/post-punk. Threading that commentary with intense self-reflection, Great American Painting ultimately fulfills a mission The Districts first embraced upon forming as teenagers in small-town Pennsylvania: an urge to create undeniably cathartic music that obliterates hopelessness and invites their audience along in dreaming up a far better future. |

Dopapod
Dopapod Presented by The Commonwealth Room at The Commonwealth Room Aug 24, 2022 Music resides in the fourth dimension unaffected by the constraints and restrictions of this mortal coil. Instead, it occupies the ether, affecting us emotionally, physically, and spiritually without concrete form or shape. As such, Dopapod access a heightened level of cosmic harmony in their music. The quartet—Eli Winderman [keys, vocals], Rob Compa [guitar, vocals], Chuck Jones [bass], and Neal “Fro” Evans [drums]—present albums as experiences meant to be shared out of your speakers and on stage. After generating millions of streams, packing shows coast-to-coast, and earning acclaim from Rolling Stone, Guitar World, Glide Magazine, and more, the group architect an immersive and expansive vision on their self-titled seventh full-length offering, Dopapod. “At the end of the day, we hope we represent being yourself, being unique, and trying to do something new,” exclaims Eli. “If everyone does that, I think the world would be a much more interesting place all around.”… |
