Yet we have gone through it together and continue with questions and changes. This watercolor show uses animals to recall our experiences in a captivating way through the "Quaran Team". Whether we have chosen to wear a mask or continue on without, it engages our minds with our unique adventures. This joyful showing begins with a moose putting on a mask, there is a flamingo heading off to Spring Break only carrying hers, a hedgehog fearful of getting swabbed, a woodpecker who gets cough shamed and then self isolates, and two zebras that meet up and  find themselves in a predicament. Rebelution -- Good Vibes Summer Tour 2022

Presented by Rio Tinto Stadium at Rio Tinto Stadium

Aug 23, 2022

Good Vibes Summer Tour 2022 with Steel Pulse, DENM, DJ Mackle Founded in Isla Vista, CA, Rebelution has followed their instincts since the release of their breakout 2007 debut, Courage To Grow. In 2009, the band topped the Billboard Reggae Chart for the first of what would be five consecutive #1 records; and in 2017, they garnered a GRAMMY nomination for Best Reggae Album. Rebelution’s transcendent live performances, meanwhile, have earned the group sell-out headline shows everywhere from Red Rocks to The Greek Theatre, along with festival slots at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, ACL, Glastonbury, and more. Their latest album, In The Moment, is deliberate and wide-ranging, infusing the quartet’s soulful, exhilarating brand of modern reggae with addictive pop hooks, alt-rock grit, and hip-hop grooves. The performances here are bold and self-assured, and the production is equally ambitious, drawing on swirling reverb and trippy delay to create an immersive sonic universe that’s…

The Districts

Presented by Kilby Court at Kilby Court

Aug 23, 2022

Great American Painting, the fifth full-length from The Districts, is the rare album that shines a bright light on all that’s wrong in the world but somehow still channels a galvanizing sense of hope. With equal parts nuanced observation and raw outpouring of feeling, the Philadelphia-based band confront a constellation of problems eroding the American ideal (gentrification, gun violence, the crushing weight of late capitalism), ornamenting every track with their explosive yet elegant breed of indie-rock/post-punk. Threading that commentary with intense self-reflection, Great American Painting ultimately fulfills a mission The Districts first embraced upon forming as teenagers in small-town Pennsylvania: an urge to create undeniably cathartic music that obliterates hopelessness and invites their audience along in dreaming up a far better future.

Little Bird, is composed of musicians Jay Hurtt (vocals), Noah Jones (piano), Oleg Terentiev (drums), Ben Mossman (bass), and Jim Rubush (guitar). The current incarnation of the group commenced in 2017, laying the groundwork for their genre-bending, signature sound with the 2018 record, Familiar, produced by Shane Woods and Jeff Lucci of Mo Lowda. In 2021 Little Bird released their first full-length album. Inspired by their favorite modern and vintage artists, Hiatus Kaiyote, Nick Hakim, D’Angelo and Stevie Wonder, the 23-track odyssey is entitled, ‘PROXIMA’ (latin for ‘nearest’ or ‘next’) and was released in 3 separate EPs; Alpha, Beta, and Gamma. Music resides in the fourth dimension unaffected by the constraints and restrictions of this mortal coil. Instead, it occupies the ether, affecting us emotionally, physically, and spiritually without concrete form or shape. As such, Dopapod access a heightened level of cosmic harmony in their music. The quartet—Eli Winderman [keys, vocals], Rob Compa [guitar, vocals], Chuck Jones [bass], and Neal “Fro” Evans [drums]—present albums as experiences meant to be shared out of your speakers and on stage. After generating millions of streams, packing shows coast-to-coast, and earning acclaim from Rolling Stone, Guitar World, Glide Magazine, and more, the group architect an immersive and expansive vision on their self-titled seventh full-length offering, Dopapod. “At the end of the day, we hope we represent being yourself, being unique, and trying to do something new,” exclaims Eli. “If everyone does that, I think the world would be a much more interesting place all around.”…
