Althea Neustaedter

I am an art teacher and artist working on many projects I have an undergrad in Illustration from the California College of the Arts and a Masters of Fine Art from the San Francisco Academy of Art. I have years of teaching experience creating my own classes and curriculum.

I have a Classical approach to teaching art. I believe in establishing a foundation in the core fundamentals in drawing and painting for any style or genre, digital or traditional. This includes basic concepts such as composition, perspective, and color theory.I design a course that is easily understood and encourages creativity and individual expression.

Upon completing my coarse course, students have a clear understanding of how art is made – both in terms of technical techniques as well as aesthetic principles.

I believe art is important in all aspects of life and should be available to all to explore.
